Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Information Technology Intern to join our IT team. As an IT Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our internal staff by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring efficient IT operations, and gaining hands-on experience in IT support services. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build foundational skills in IT support, customer service, and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line technical assistance for staff experiencing IT issues (hardware, software, networking, etc.).
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to computers, software, printers, network connectivity, and other IT equipment.
  • Install and configure software applications and assist with system updates and patches on company devices.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees by providing IT setup support and conducting basic user training on company systems and applications.
  • Help with setup, installation, and maintenance of IT hardware, including computers, printers, and peripherals.
  • Maintain and update documentation on common IT issues, troubleshooting steps, inventory, and solutions to improve efficiency within the department.
  • Assist in escalating complex technical issues to senior IT staff or vendors for further resolution.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, MacOS, etc.).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, Wi-Fi) is a plus.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, or other common IT management tools.
  • Experience with remote troubleshooting tools.
  • Basic knowledge of IT security practices.

Compensation:
