Engineering Internship at Web Industries Hartford (Dayville, CT) - SUMMER HELP

Working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm

Purpose of the Job

The Engineering intern role is to support process and applications engineering initiatives. Ā This support will include testing of materials from product development / improvement trials, test method development, process improvement implementation, machine component design (CAD) and procurement, material inspection, research to support engineering projects, basic data analysis, lean event support, draft ISO9001/ ISO13485 documentation, safety compliance support.Ā

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 2 years college experience-Required
  • Ability to prioritize and manage complexity
  • Excellent accuracy of work and attention to detail
  • Ability to influence others and get results working with a diverse team
  • Personal leadership, time management, and problem-solving competencies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels within and outside of the organization
  • U.S. citizenship required
