Position Overview
Site Supervisor at Athletic Events
Hours: Hours vary by scheduled event- 30-40 evenst per year
Primary Responsibilities
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
Fall:- Swim/Dive:
- Check in with event supervisor, help the supervisor and ticket seller as needed.
- Spectator supervision
- Soccer:
- Check in with announcer in the booth, event supervisor, and concession stand to see what they need from you.
- Check in with officials – bring them water at halftime.
- Ensure fans are entering through the Rotunda – no other entry points. (JV fans must pay).
- Spectator supervision
- Volleyball:
- Check in with table workers, event supervisor, and concession stands to see what they need from you.
- Check in with officials – bring them water after game 1.
- Ensure fans are entering through appropriate doors.
- Assist Administration with spectator supervision.
- Football:
- Help event supervisor with concession stand (beverages to go in the cafeteria refrigerator hours before game time, grab food from Athletic Office).
- Set up ticket booth (cash boxes, rosters, programs, and iPads go to Able St. stand before workers begin selling at 6:15).
- Monitor concession stand area during the game.
- Open door 15 (entrance by Auxiliary Gym) for teams as they exit/enter halftime.
- Close Able St. gate after the game is over once most of the fans have left.
- Assist Administration with spectator supervision
Winter: - Basketball:
- Check in with table workers, event supervisor, and concession stands to see what they need from you.
- Bring lower-level officials’ water at halftime.
- Ensure fans are entering through appropriate doors.
- Visiting Teams
- Show them to their respective locker room.
- Give them a key.
- Varsity – check in with 3 officials as they arrive, bring them a key for the locker room.
- Give officials water at halftime as they head to their locker room.
- Give officials a 3-minute warning before halftime is over.
- Bring ticket sellers back to Athletic Office after halftime.
- Immediately after the game – collect keys from officials and from the visiting team.
- After 10 minutes, begin clearing the gym of fans and shutting the doors.
- Assist Administration with spectator supervision.
- Swim/Dive:
- Check in with event supervisor, help the supervisor and ticket seller as needed.
- Spectator supervision
Spring: - Lacrosse:
- Check in with announcer in the booth, event supervisor, and concession stand to see what they need from you.
- Bring officials water at halftime.
- Ensure fans are entering through the Rotunda – no other entry points.
- Spectator supervision
- Track and Field:
- Check in with announcer in the booth, event supervisor, and concession stand to see what they need from you.
- Ensure fans are entering through the Rotunda – no other entry points.

Qualifications
Candidate must have excellent interpersonal communication skills. Personal skills must include a professional, friendly, positive, and cooperative work style and the ability to work with many types of people in various circumstances. Candidate must be able to perform tasks proficiently while handling frequent interruptions, multi-task, and possess good communication skills.
Salary
$5000.00 stipend paid in 2 installments - February and June
