Warehouse Intern

Summary: 

Under general supervision, performs in any one of the warehouse functions including picking, packing and assembling and moving boxes and products within established guidelines. 

Essential Duties:

• Uses hand-held scanner and moves product from one location to another location.
• Sorts and places product or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type or product code.
• Assembles kits and labels product.
• Reads hand-held scanner to determine items to be picked, gathered, and places on pallets or packing stations.
• Records amounts of items received or distributed.
• Matches products with packing list.
• Prepares and packages products for shipping.
• Uses computer to enter shipping records.
• Processes all packages and prepares shipping labels.
• Builds skids for shipping.
• Is consistently at work and on time.
• Maintains clean, neat and orderly conditions in the warehouse.
• Adheres to all safety and security standards.
