Here's what you'll be doing
- Learn about the energy industry and how to forecast within a leading forecasting team.
- Gain insight into converting mathematical concepts into practical business solutions.
- Develop coding skills and user interfaces in a real business environment.
- Contribute to improving our wind and solar power forecast performance by:
- Support the Volume Forecasting team in simplifying complex models so business partners can understand the impacts, including developing dashboards.
- Work alongside industry experts and gain extensive knowledge of the wind and solar sector.
What we need from you
- Currently pursuing a degree with a strong numerical component.
- Interest in the energy industry and renewable forecasting.
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- High level of numeracy; coding skills in any language are a plus.
- Comfortable working independently to set goals and achieve objectives.
- Available to attend an interview in April 2026, if shortlisted
- Available to undertake the internship from June 2026 to October 2026
