The Role:

As a Trust Intern, you will support the daily operational activities of the Trust Department while gaining hands-on experience in trust administration, financial operations, and compliance. This internship provides exposure to the fundamentals of trust and wealth management services, offering a valuable learning opportunity for students or early-career professionals interested in financial services. You will work closely with operations, administration, and compliance teams to ensure accurate processing, quality client service, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic transaction processing and account updates.
  • Help maintain organized and accurate client and account records.
  • Support the preparation of simple internal reports and client documents.
  • Assist with generating and mailing client statements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the trust operations team.
  • Participate in compliance tasks such as filing, tracking documents, and learning BSA requirements.
  • Support the team with special projects and operational tasks as needed.

Preferred qualifications and interests include:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong willingness and ability to learn financial software systems (Salesforce or AccountingSeed experience is a bonus, but not required).
  • Interest in trust operations, financial services, or banking.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude.
