SUMMARY


FIT Technologies is one of the fastest-growing Managed IT Service Providers and IT Companies in Ohio. Founded in 1999, FIT Technologies works with schools, healthcare, and corporate clients to fulfill their IT services and needs. We are seeking a self-directed IT intern for the remainder of the Summer 2026 season who have a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership. Internship to last to September 10th, 2026.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
  • Organize and maintain IT resources.
  • Gain hands-on experience in an IT position.
  • Shadowing and training experiences with knowledgeable professionals.
  • Opportunity to attend networking events and company meetings.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS


  • Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related major
  • Familiar with Java, .NET, JavaScript or HTML/DHTML and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with vehicle insurance
  • Ability to travel in the local area (some overnight travel may be required)
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail


WORKING CONDITIONS + REQUIREMENTS 
Working conditions may be typical for an office environment and will require: 

• Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 

• Ability to lift 50 pounds 

• Travel to FIT Technologies Headquarters in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio, and client sites in the Metropolitan Cleveland area. 

• Reliable transportation
