Summer Internship Opportunities

Internship Term: Summer 2026 (with the potential to continue throughout the year)

Departments: Claims, Product Management (Project Coordination and Policy Documentation), Underwriting, Sales & Marketing

Overview: Nodak Insurance is excited to open applications for our Summer Internship Program. These internships are designed to provide students with exposure to real‑world projects, hands‑on learning, and professional development within a supportive team environment. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while gaining insight into the day‑to‑day operations of their assigned department.

Applicants must include a cover letter indicating which internship area they are applying for.

Successful interns may have the opportunity to extend their internship beyond the summer term, depending on business needs and performance.

What You’ll Do

While responsibilities may vary by department, interns can generally expect to:

• Assist with ongoing projects and daily departmental tasks
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas
• Conduct basic research and prepare reports or summaries
• Support process improvements and administrative functions
• Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals

What We’re Looking For

• Current students at the sophomore level or above, as well as recent graduates within 12 months of completing their degree who are seeking hands‑on experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and ask questions
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Interest in one or more of the following areas: Claims, Product Management, Underwriting, or Sales & Marketing
• Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude toward learning new tasks

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work in a typical office setting where the employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Occasional travel required (< 10%)
