Summer Cleaning Team Member

This is a contract position for summer 2026 only.

Compensation: $19/hr 

Regular Duties 

HOEM Management Inc. prides itself on creating a team of staff who love what they do. Our mission at HOEM is to create wonderful communities and our Comfort & Coziness Team brings a positive attitude and exceptional attention to detail that makes HOEMies feel at home.  A high-level overview of the role is below: 

1.    In-Suite Cleaning

2.   Building Cleaning & Light Maintenance

3.    Group & Summer Booking Preparation

We’re a team of people who does whatever it takes, so there will be other duties that you are assigned in your role with us that don’t fit nicely into this list.    

We’re looking for a reliable and positive team player who takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment! The successful candidate is detail oriented, self-motivated and will help create a safe, friendly, and pleasant environment, ensuring an exceptional experience for all students.

At the end of the contract term, success in this position will look like: 

• High Guest Satisfaction: Achieved 100% student satisfaction with suite cleanliness and linens.
• Attention to Detail: all tasks were completed to a high-standard that enhance student comfort at HOEM.
• Zero Complaints: Maintained a complaint-free record for linen service and cleaning throughout the summer.
• Approachable and Friendly: Fostered an environment where students felt comfortable approaching you to say hi or ask questions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities: You were able to apply critical thinking and communication skills to confidently assess situations and resolve issues effectively. 
• Timely Completion: met all assigned deadlines consistently.

Work Schedule  

Hours of Work: The Comfort & Coziness Summer positions are full time positions, working 37.5 hrs/week. Weekend work will be required and you will be given advance notice of your weekly shifts.  Opportunity for additional hours may come up.

Move-In & Move-out Days: Move-in and move-out days are mandatory for the full HOEM team. You will receive at least 2 weeks’ notice for your assigned work hours for these days.
