Key Responsibilities can include: 

• Research, request, and obtain open records from police departments, government entities, and businesses.
• Conduct medical canvasses to verify pre-existing care.
• Contact businesses and agencies via telephone to verify facts and gather supplemental information.
• Obtain statements from relevant parties, including law enforcement personnel, when required.
• Produce clear, well-organized investigative reports.
• Work collaboratively while managing individual assignments independently.
• Assist with the review of investigative assignments, ensuring adherence to specific client requirements.
• Help assign cases to field investigators based on geographic location, budgetary guidelines, and cost containment principles.
• Assist in gathering information for in-house investigations to facilitate successful case completion.
• Write assignment providing the investigator with detailed instructions on how to complete the assignment. 
• Maintaining documentation of feedback on field investigator performance, communication, and timeliness. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and basic data/video upload processes. 
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. 
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Case Managers and field investigators.
• A proactive attitude and a commitment to meeting deadlines. 

Training is provided to ensure a thorough understanding of the best practices and processes relevant to the role. There is the potential after the internship period has ended of transitioning into a full-time role.
