What you’ll do:
Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Partner Ecosystem Success Advocacy & Amplification
Location: Hybrid - Reston
Expected start date: August 2024
Duration: 6- 12 months
Working hours: part-time - 20hrs./week
The Partner Ecosystem Success Advocacy & Amplification team is seeking a communications intern to support a variety of communication channels. This includes assisting with the planning of global to-partner events (both in-person and virtual), amplification of partner news on the SAP Partner Portal, as well as administrative tasks related to communications. The goal is to support increased visibility and reach of SAP’s partner ecosystem, including partner success stories and awareness of SAP’s strategic offerings and partnership programs i.e., AI, RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, the SAP PartnerEdge program as well as to support increased awareness of SAP and partner news with internal stakeholders. This is a highly collaborative role with team members located around the globe.
This is a hands-on position for an experienced writer(ideally an enrolled student in a BA or MA program for marketing, public relations, corporate communications, or journalism). Successful candidates must have solid communication skills, strong attention to detail, creative ideas, marketing acumen, and excellent copywriting and editing skills. The position requires the ability to seek out information and problem-solve.

This means we produce and support multiple virtual, and in-person events every year, develop weekly internal and to-partner newsletters, produce partner-specific podcasts, provide executive communications support, and drive awareness of strategic initiatives to our partners. Team members are primarily based in the US, with a few based in Germany.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
