Procurement Intern 

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our fast-growing corporate team. As an intern, you will gain exposure to many facets of our business, with primary responsibilities centered on purchasing support. This role focuses on the procurement process, maintaining inventory, and regular interaction with vendors and internal teams.

What you’ll be doing:

The responsibilities of this position will vary, but primarily focus on internal network administration, establishing a company help desk and cyber security initiatives.

Specific duties to include:

• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Analyze vendor and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
• Assist in resolving vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers.
• Coordinate activities engaged in buying and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Work effectively with Project Managers and Operations personnel for order specific needs.

Job Experience / Education

• Must be pursuing a degree in Business Administration or related field. 
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Additional Skills 

• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal manner to customers, vendors and to those within the company.
• Must possess a positive attitude and be willing to interact with customers, co-workers, and other personnel.
• Commitment to integrity and Company Standards and Procedures.
• Diligence and accuracy are necessary and ability to oversee confidential information.
