This position is intended to introduce the intern to the government affairs and advocacy arena at the local, state, and federal level while providing support and assistance to the Allegheny Conference Growth Team. While every effort will be made to tailor each internship to the student鈥檚 interests, in general, the intern will be expected to assist where requested in the areas of legislative, policy, communications, and administrative duties. Additionally, the intern will play a key role in monitoring and tracking regional developments, including government actions, policy proposals, and economic trends relevant to the organization鈥檚 mission. Intern will report to the Vice President, Public Affairs, but will work collaboratively with, and at the request of, other staff. 聽
