Help empower new students to become active participants in our democracy! The Center for Engaged Learning is recruiting a summer intern to assist with nonpartisan voter registration and education outreach during our summer orientation sessions. The selected intern(s) will staff the Mercer Votes table during the summer orientation resource fairs (scheduled from 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. in Heritage Hall).
Requirements:
Must be a current Mercer University student in good academic standing. Ideal candidates should be available for all six summer orientation sessions- June 13, June 16, June 18, June 20, June 23, and June 25. You might be a good fit for this role if you are passionate about civic engagement and enjoy speaking with people and sharing helpful information.
