MARKETING INTERN (15–20 HOURS PER WEEK)

We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to assist our marketing team during an exciting company rebrand. This position offers hands-on experience in marketing operations, social media coordination, brand implementation, and e-commerce administration. This position is based in our Salt Lake City office and averages approximately 15–20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand & Marketing Support

  • Update company marketing resources, templates, and branded collateral, including PowerPoint templates and digital assets.
  • Organize and maintain company marketing files, photography libraries, and shared resources.
  • Assist with implementing company rebranding initiatives across various platforms and materials.
  • Support marketing team projects and special assignments.
  • Assist with launch activities related to new branding, company initiatives, and employee programs.
  • Perform other marketing and administrative duties as assigned.

Content Creation & Social Media

  • Assist with drafting and scheduling social media content.
  • Photograph company merchandise.
  • Edit and optimize images for web, social media, and e-commerce use.
  • Create simple graphics, flyers, signage, and marketing materials as needed.

Employee Store & E-Commerce

  • Upload and maintain inventory within the company's Wix storefront.
  • Pull orders, package items, print shipping labels, and update inventory records.
  • Track employee store credits using Smartsheet.

Employee Engagement & Events

  • Distribute marketing materials, flyers, and promotional resources to offices and jobsites.
  • Research, inventory, and organize marketing displays, giveaways, and recruiting/event materials.
  • Assist with ordering and distributing updated branding materials, office signage, and promotional items.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred.
  • Experience with social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, preferred.
  • Basic photography and photo editing skills preferred.
  • Comfortable learning new software platforms, including Wix and internal business applications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and quality control skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.

This internship provides the opportunity to gain real-world experience supporting a corporate rebrand from planning through launch while developing skills in marketing campaigns, branding, social media, e-commerce, and content creation. You'll work on meaningful projects that contribute directly to the company, build a professional portfolio, receive mentorship from an experienced marketing professional, and gain valuable exposure to the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
