Position Overview
Orchard Park Marketing is seeking a part-time Marketing Intern to support a variety of marketing initiatives. This role is a strong fit for a student or early-career candidate who wants hands-on exposure to lead generation, campaign execution, marketing research, reporting, and cross-functional account support.
Prior marketing experience can be minimal. The strongest candidates will bring a professional demeanor, clear communication skills, reliability, curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Support lead generation efforts by researching prospects, target accounts, industries, and potential contacts.
- Help build, clean, organize, and maintain prospect lists, CRM records, spreadsheets, and campaign data.
- Assist with nurture campaign activities such as list preparation, content coordination, campaign setup support, quality checks, scheduling support, and performance tracking.
- Gather, organize, and summarize campaign and marketing performance data for internal and client-facing reports.
- Conduct marketing research on competitors, audiences, industries, market trends, advertising channels, and prospective client opportunities.
- Support account management needs, including meeting preparation, follow-up notes, project tracking, deliverable coordination, and task organization.
- Assist brand, content, and digital projects as needed, including asset organization, proofreading, social or digital coordination, SEO research, and basic website or campaign support.
- Help maintain internal documentation, workflows, and project materials to support efficient team collaboration.
Possible Areas of Assignment
Assignments may vary based on current client and business needs. The intern may support one or more of the following areas:
- Lead generation and business development support
- CRM, list management, and nurture campaigns
- Reporting, dashboards, and campaign recaps
- Marketing research and competitive analysis
- Account management coordination
- Brand, messaging, and content support
- Digital marketing support, including social, website, SEO, and paid media coordination
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor, good judgment, and a dependable work style.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions carefully.
- Comfort with online research, spreadsheets, document preparation, and basic business tools.
- Ability to work independently, ask thoughtful questions, and manage tasks across multiple projects.
- Interest in marketing, business, communications, advertising, public relations, digital media, or related fields.
- Willingness to learn new platforms, processes, and marketing concepts.
Preferred, But Not Required
- Relevant coursework, projects, internships, campus involvement, or part-time work experience.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, email marketing tools, social media platforms, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO tools, or basic website content management systems.
Schedule and Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule with a mix of work-from-home time and in-office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Must be available during agreed-upon office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Role requires collaboration with the Managing Partner and other team members, including receiving assignments and feedback from multiple contributors.
- Candidate should be comfortable communicating clearly in person, by email, and through team collaboration tools.
