Marketing Assistant Intern

Legacy Mutual Mortgage is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to support the company’s marketing initiatives and brand presence. This internship is designed for current college students or recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in marketing, communications, social media, and business operations within the mortgage and financial services industry.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced professional environment. This role offers exposure to real-world marketing strategies, content creation, recruiting events, community outreach, and cross-functional collaboration with multiple departments.

• Assist with the creation and scheduling of social media content across company platforms 
• Support marketing campaigns, events, and community outreach initiatives 
• Help create marketing materials such as flyers, presentations, email communications, and internal announcements 
• Assist with maintaining and updating company websites, marketing databases, and digital content 
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities 
• Support branch marketing requests and promotional efforts 
• Assist with photography, video content, and basic graphic design projects as needed 
• Help coordinate recruiting events, career fairs, and employee engagement activities 
• Track campaign performance metrics and assist with reporting 
• Provide administrative support to the marketing team on special projects and daily operations
• Must maintain regular attendance.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• Other duties as needed by production, and operation team. 

•  Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Comfortable using social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design platforms is preferred 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines 
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate
