Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments on a PRN basis.
• Perform interview-based evaluations and limited physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete and submit documentation of evaluations, including any required addendums.
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; this role focuses strictly on assessments.
• Utilize your own office space for conducting examinations.
• Engage in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with a focus on General Medicine.
• Proficient in METs testing and evaluation of respiratory and cardiovascular health.
• Familiarity with compensation and pension processes is preferred.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery is a plus.
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Ability to complete DMA training and obtain DMA certification.

License and Certification Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York.
• Certification through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is required.
