Landscape Internship

Internship Position

Job Summary: The internship program will include opportunities to learn and experience various areas of the landscape industry while including the following disciplines:

• General Horticulture including Estate Gardening and Detail Crew operations
• Weekly Maintenance Services
• Technical Services including Irrigation and more
• Plant Health Care
• Construction & Installation Management
• Account Management & Landscape Design
• General Business Planning & Function
• Self-Chosen Areas of Interest

The qualities we’re looking for to be successful in this role are:

• Students pursuing associates or bachelor’s degrees in Horticulture, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Plant & Soil science, Forestry, Landscape Design, or related discipline.
• Someone who will embrace and live our values of respect, accountability, vision, service, listening, learning & teaching, and gratitude.
• An outgoing personality, a trustworthy approach, and flexibility to take on different tasks, all with a track record of accountability and a hands-on approach to getting things done.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Able to lift 20 to 50+ pounds and enjoys active work outdoors.

These are paid internships.  While our ideal schedule would be for you to work 7 am to 5 pm five days a week, we have flexibility if you are balancing summer school or other responsibilities. Our summer schedule does adjust depending on the department you are in the for the week.
