IT Intern

Job Summary: 

The IT Intern will assist with the day-to-day operation and administrative tasks of the IT Department. They will be exposed to all facets of IT administration.  This is a part-time opportunity, anticipated 20 hours per week.  Candidates must be available to work on-site at our Dayton OH office.

Duties: 

• Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
• Organize and maintain IT resources
• Perform research and analysis of digital applications and services
• Provide administrative support by preparing reports, monitoring email and tickets
• Order supplies, parts, replacement equipment, cables
• Physically installing network equipment, running cables, moving equipment, labeling devices/cables
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma required, an Associates or bachelors degree is preferable or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience in an IT-related field
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) 
• Must be 18 years of age
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making
• Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work in office
• Reliable high speed broad band home internet
