WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Strategic Marketing Intern will support the Strategic Marketing Sr. Manager, along with other cross-functional members of BRF with building our scalable data tracking for our industries, categories and customers. Specifically, this intern role will work on:

  • Create the repeatable category overview decks for our key categories. Includes templating, data layout, and insights development
  • Research and data support for industry and customer overviews
  • Support in data analysis for upcoming external-facing cross functional projects
  • Create and support internal industry news updates to the enterprise
  • Develop competitive tracker with hiring manager

SKILLS YOU’LL DEVELOP

The goal of this internship is to help students gain hands-on experience in strategic marketing and further develop their data analysis, project management, and data storytelling and communication skills. 

  • Develop foundational data analysis skills by working with syndicated and secondary data to support category, customer, and industry overviews
  • Build experience creating clear, repeatable PowerPoint decks, including basic templating, data layout, and simple insight summaries
  • Gain exposure to marketing strategy and category management concepts across foodservice and retail channels
  • Strengthen professional and project management skills by supporting recurring updates, cross-functional projects, and senior marketing stakeholders

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program pursuing Bachelor’s in various programs related to Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of completion of two years of program (must be going into 3rd or 4th year)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and summarize data into actionable insights
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization or project management tools is a plus
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in written and verbal, in the English language
