Intern

The IT Summer Intern is an entry level position at BRG Sports where student will receive knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable IT resource at BRG Sports. IT summer Intern will receive real-world work and add value to BRG IT team during their time at the BRG Sports.                                                            

The summer Intern will be required to support all related business projects and members of the IT team responsible for the implementation of all new business processes and project implementations using Artificial Intelligence and Automation. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, building, and deploying AI/ML models for ongoing and experimental projects.
• Analyze large datasets and prepare them for model training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with senior AI researchers, engineers, and data scientists on exploratory research and development tasks.
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Contribute to AI-related research papers, documentation, and technical reports.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering innovative ideas to solve challenges related to AI implementation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, or AI-related tools (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
• Strong programming skills in Python (or relevant programming languages).
• Experience with data manipulation, analysis, and visualization libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision (CV) is an advantage.
