Job Summary:
Accurately maintain data and records in multiple computerized systems and office files.
Generate routine reports and lists using information from computerized systems and other sources.
Post approved job vacancies and support the district’s recruitment and hiring efforts.
Track and monitor new hire and employee compliance with various requirements.
Process employee name and address changes in multiple systems and files.
Review and process timesheets required for contracted staff payroll.
Meet with new and existing staff to take photos and create employee badges.
Assist with maintaining office supplies and equipment/machines for the department.
Act as back-up to other HR office support staff, including substitute coordinator.
Perform reception and other general clerical duties as needed.
Other related duties as assigned by Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources
Required Qualifications:
Relevant work experience providing clerical support in a professional office setting.
Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Google Office Products, Microsoft Office, etc.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to focus on details.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically with others.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and in an independent manner.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to changes
Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and cooperatively in the workplace and as a productive member of a team.
Must meet the State standards for a clear criminal history and provide mandated fingerprint clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in an HR department strongly preferred.
Previous experience working within an HRIS (or other electronic database systems) strongly preferred.
Previous experience working in a K-12 school environment or similar industry preferred.

Working Conditions:
Classification C, $17.53 - $23.40/Hour, 11-month position
Monday - Thursday 8:00a - 4:30p, Friday 8:00a - 4:00p
