    Job Summary:
     

     
    • Accurately maintain data and records in multiple computerized systems and office files.

    • Generate routine reports and lists using information from computerized systems and other sources.

    • Post approved job vacancies and support the district’s recruitment and hiring efforts.

    • Track and monitor new hire and employee compliance with various requirements.

    • Process employee name and address changes in multiple systems and files.

    • Review and process timesheets required for contracted staff payroll.

    • Meet with new and existing staff to take photos and create employee badges.

    • Assist with maintaining office supplies and equipment/machines for the department.

    • Act as back-up to other HR office support staff, including substitute coordinator.

    • Perform reception and other general clerical duties as needed.

    • Other related duties as assigned by Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources 

     

     

     

    Required Qualifications:

     
    • Relevant work experience providing clerical support in a professional office setting.

    • Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

    • Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Google Office Products, Microsoft Office, etc.

    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to focus on details.

    • Excellent customer service skills.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically with others.

    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and in an independent manner.

    • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to changes

    • Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and cooperatively in the workplace and as a productive member of a team.

    • Must meet the State standards for a clear criminal history and provide mandated fingerprint clearance

     

     

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

     
    • Previous experience working in an HR department strongly preferred.

    • Previous experience working within an HRIS (or other electronic database systems) strongly preferred.

    • Previous experience working in a K-12 school environment or similar industry preferred.

    Working Conditions:

     

    Classification C, $17.53 - $23.40/Hour, 11-month position

     

    Monday - Thursday 8:00a - 4:30p, Friday 8:00a - 4:00p
