This position will assist the Hershey Bears Manager of Game Experience & Events with the planning, coordination and execution of all game day operations. In addition, this position will assist Hershey Bears Front Office staff as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, day to day tasks and special projects.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Assist with the planning and execution of specialty nights.
  • Complete pre & post game duties, including but not limited to, distribution of promotional items, setting up the concourse, reviewing game day production script, preparing all things necessary for in-game and intermission activities, and end of night clean up.
  • Complete in-game duties, including but not limited to, choosing contestants to participate in intermission activities, escorting large anthem groups, fan tunnel participants, and intermission contestants to event level, executing in-game and intermission features, and assisting with VIP experiences.
  • Prepare and execute game day activities for the Hershey Bears Coco’s Kids Club table, including registration and prize wheel.
  • Prepare and execute post game events such as Turkey Shoot, Autograph Night, and Jersey auctions.
  • Assist with the Coco’s Kids Club parties, season ticket holder events, player appearances, and community events.
  • Assist Front Office Staff as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior status enrolled in an undergraduate program as of the Fall 2026 season.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Sports Marketing/Management, Marketing, Event Planning majors are highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Google Docs.

  • Experience working with Canva.

  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be innovative and be self-motivated to complete tasks.
  • Must be able to express enthusiasm for the sport and the fans.
  • Must be comfortable speaking to large groups of guests, employees, and professionals within the sport of Ice Hockey.

Job Demands:

  • Must be available to attend all Hershey Bears home games. This includes, but is not limited to, thirty six (36) regular season home games between Sept. 2026 and May 2027, and if applicable, playoff games through the end of June 2027
  • Must be available to work one (1) 4-hour office shift during the week (Monday-Friday).
  • Must be available to attend special Hershey Bears events outside of hockey games, including but not limited to, seasonal parades, Kids Club parties and community pop up events.
  • Must be able to follow the professional appearance standards established by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts and the American Hockey League.
