Overview


Our Graduate Program is designed for upcoming graduates who want a career in  heavy highway construction. Graduates start in the field, learning operations  firsthand by setting grade, running equipment, and leading small crews, before  progressing to Project Foreman and ultimately Superintendent roles.


Responsibilities

  • Work directly on crews performing grading, paving, or subdivision work.
  • Operate equipment and manage daily field tasks.
  • Grow to lead small groups under a superintendent’s guidance.
  • Monitor safety, productivity, and quality standards.
  • Track costs, materials, and production.


Exposure Opportunities

Highway & subdivision development, dirt & paving operations, crushing,  aggregates & concrete production, and retail aggregate & asphalt sales.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related 
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership potential.
  • Desire for a hands-on, field-based career.


Flexibility to work outdoors and travel to work on job sites across Northwest MontanaCompensation and benefits offered with this role will be based on work experience and capability.
