Toray Advanced Composites (TAC) is a leading supplier of advanced composite materials for the aerospace, sporting goods, motorsport, and industrial markets. You will find our thermoset composite products on nearly every satellite, space launch vehicle, unmanned aircraft, military and commercial aircraft in production today. TAC also provides composites materials to industrial and recreational applications including mountain bikes, medical prosthetics, and sports equipment.

Our thermoplastic prepregs, known in the industry as Cetex®, are found in a wide range of commercial and military aircraft, including large wing structures and interior applications like seats and galleys. Our Cetex products are available in unidirectional tape or fabric form in a variety of engineered thermoplastic resins including PEEK, PPS, PEI as well as a full line of performance thermoplastics including Nylon, PET, PC/ABS, HDPE, and PP.

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern to support our records management and operational efficiency initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments, including Facilities,  Quality and Finance, while contributing to process improvements and cost optimization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze stored records inventory and verify retention compliance with stakeholders
  • Identify documents eligible for secure disposal and coordinate with vendors and internal teams
  • Document processes and assist in maintaining and updating desk procedures (SOPs)
  • Support improvements to storage approval processes to reduce costs
  • Assist with invoice verification, CapEx documentation, and maintaining digital backups
  • Provide support to the accounting team with general accounting tasks
  • Conduct research, data collection, and analysis to support projects
  • Provide administrative support (scheduling, documentation, correspondence)
  • Collaborate across departments and contribute to team discussions
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects on time with high-quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Information Management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Hourly rate:  $20 - $23/hr  rate based on year in school
