Co-op Students had this to say about working for Aptara:

"I loved working at Aptara. I was treated as a full member of the team and learned a lot about educational publishing."

"Incredible place to work at. The people there are great to get along with and the overall atmosphere is very relaxed, even under the most chaotic times. Depending on what projects they have going on, what you do will vastly differ from day to day. They're not afraid to give you work that they'd typically give to full-time assistant project managers. You help out the editorial team, the production team and the art team, so you get a very good idea of how textbook editing works."

"Even though I did not have aspirations to work in the field of educational publishing, Aptara gave me an amazing opportunity to get my first glance into the publishing industry. By the end of my six months I had played an invaluable role in a long-term project and had been given the responsibility of supervising both a freelancer and an intern. The people at Aptara are all extremely welcoming and supportive. I was even hired on as a freelancer after my co-op position had ended! I highly recommend Aptara to any student interested in the publishing field."
