The Fall Engineering Co-op Program is a paid internship experience located in Spencer, Indiana. We offer a 16-week rotation with assignments in Manufacturing Engineering and Post-Market Engineering. This position includes a housing stipend, 401(k), fitness center access, learning events, capstone presentation, and more. All Co-op positions are assigned a direct mentor and each position provides real-world experience with meaningful projects in the medical device manufacturing industry. Â
- Engineering Co-Ops may be involved in projects in the following areas: Process Improvement; Test Method Validation; Production; Continuous Improvement; Process Technology; Manufacturing Transfer; Supplier; Sustaining; Engineering Test Lab; Sustaining Materials; Quality Engineering; Quality Data Analytics; Research and Development Â
- Utilize engineering knowledge to produce project deliverables / documentsÂ
- Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirementsÂ
- Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growthÂ
- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organizationÂ
- Must strictly adhere to safety requirementsÂ
- Maintain regular and punctual attendanceÂ
- Must maintain company quality and quantity standardsÂ
- Must have effective communication skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervisionÂ
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situationsÂ
- College or University Junior or Senior preferred working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Graduate students also considered) Â
- Minimum GPA of 3.0Â
- Must provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or universityÂ

Physical Requirements:
- On-site and hybrid positions that work under general office environmental conditionsÂ
- Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.Â
- Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat and gloves may be required in some areas associated with this positionÂ
