(Full-time/Long-term Internship) 

Hours Per Week: ~35 hours/week. (9am-5pm. Hours may vary depending on the candidate’s schedule and departmental needs.) 

Approximate Duration: August/September 2025 - Early/Mid 2026. (Our internships can last up to 11 months from the start date.)

Hybrid work schedule: Work 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and the rest remotely. 

Basic Function of the Position:

This position provides exciting hands-on experience to help assist with speaker management, logistics, and content management components of the CES 2026 conference program. Critical Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by assisting with inquiries and concerns about CES speakers’ registration, approval process, and publishing of their profiles to the CES.tech website. 
  • Support the management of the session/speaker database. 
  • Assist with in-person CES conference program, including floor plans, signage orders, registration, and event shipments. 
  • Support content management administration through extensive database entry of session and event details and speaker invitations process via the new CMS platform. 
  • Assist with managing over 1200 speakers and the CES speaker database internally and through direct communication with conference partners. 
  • Maintain a running agenda of CES project milestones and weekly content team planning meeting minutes. 
  • Provide internal and external customer service and daily maintenance of the CES inbox. 
  • Travel to CES 2026 in Las Vegas (Early January) to assist with operations in one of the CES conference speaker-ready and session rooms. 
  • Perform other duties as required by business needs. 

Work Experience:

  • Customer service experience preferred. 
  • Experience in meetings/conventions/special events preferred. 
  • Work and/or internship experience in a team-oriented office environment is preferred. 

Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or anticipated bachelor's degree in Event Planning, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred or commensurate experience. 
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work with all staff levels. 
  • Attention to detail with the ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities under deadlines. 
  • Must be proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented with excellent follow-through skills. 
  • Must have a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills. 
  • Excellent computer/database management skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and a comfort level learning new software, CMS, and registration platforms. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
