Communications, Training & HR Intern

Job Type: Part-time Internship
Schedule: Approximately 20-25 hours per week
Hours: Morning and afternoon hours with some scheduling flexibility

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Communications, Training & HR Intern who is interested in gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a professional Human Resources setting.

This internship provides exposure to associate communications, workforce training, HR programs, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, professional, and eager to learn while contributing to meaningful workplace initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with associate communications, announcements, newsletters, flyers, and digital screen content
  • Support the coordination and preparation of associate training programs
  • Help create training materials, presentations, handouts, and other resources
  • Assist with scheduling training sessions and records

  • Provide administrative support for Human Resources projects and daily activities
  • Help organize associate engagement events and workplace initiatives
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper records
  • Assist with special projects involving communications, training, and employee development
  • Handle employee and company information with professionalism and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Canva or other graphic-design platforms is helpful but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Professional, dependable, and willing to learn
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with others
  • Comfortable working in an office and manufacturing environment

Schedule

This position will work approximately 20-25 hours per week, with a combination of morning and afternoon hours. Some flexibility is available based on the intern’s school schedule and the needs of the department.
