Zurich Canada is currently looking for a post-secondary student for an Actuarial focused Internship/Coop position to provide support with various projects and tasks to support business initiatives.
You will work under direct supervision and perform the tasks requested alongside experienced professionals. This opportunity is part of our internship program and are also open to Co-op students.

• Provide general project support related to account pricing for new and existing projects.
• Support on regular reporting projects and provide insights on portfolio trends.
• Support on research projects to update existing actuarial assumptions.
• Support on research projects to improve exiting processes.
• Work individually or in a team and follow directions from your manager/Mentor.
• In some cases, field work and interacting with customers or clients will be required
Required:
Currently enrolled in a university program, and will be enrolled in the upcoming semester, ideally entering 3rd or 4th year, preferably in an Actuarial focused/related program.
Be legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred:
• Demonstrates problem solving skills in a customer focused environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical skills
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excel and PowerPoint experience
• Self-motivated, punctual, professional and able to work independently
At Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity. We determine compensation based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, and internal equity. The salary range for this position is 54,000 - 66,000. This range reflects the expected pay for the role across Canada and may vary depending on factors like office location, specific responsibilities, and individual qualifications. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable compensation range, but starting salaries may exceed this range based on a candidate’s skills and experience.
