Position Summary:

The Accounting Intern will support the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations. This part-time role provides hands-on exposure to corporate accounting processes within a fast-paced inland marine transportation environment. The intern will assist with routine accounting tasks, data entry, and general administrative support while gaining practical experience in financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with data entry and maintenance of accounting records
• Organize and maintain financial documentation and files
• Perform basic research and analysis as needed
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
