THE OPPORTUNITY
Kipsu is seeking an intern to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll play a unique and interesting role in a high growth, leading edge Minneapolis based software company. Here, you complete a variety of finance -related projects and learn what finance support looks like in a small, growing company.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with month end close including preparing journal entries, and financial analysis
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with accounts payable, including entering invoices, and applying payments
- Assist with accounts receivable including posting customer payments, and assisting with collections
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or related field
