The Internship: The Transactions Intern will work on a part-time basis with DLC’s Transactions team to help facilitate acquisition, disposition, and financing transactions. You will be responsible for assisting the Due Diligence Coordinators with managing the due diligence process and providing assistance through the closing of transactions.
Responsibilities:
Provide transactional support for acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
Assist with obtaining due diligence materials
Create and update external data sites for brokers, lenders, partners, buyers, sellers, and appraisers
Maintain and update Excel trackers for due diligence and third party reports
Interact with and gather information from third parties
Generate financial reports from DLC’s financial software and validate reports with the Accounting team and Due Diligence Coordinators
Assist in requesting and following up on receipt of documents from tenants in connection with transactions
Assist with updating and completing tasks on closing checklists
Upload and save due diligence and closing documents to SharePoint
Obtain updates and information from all other internal departments
Prepare meeting materials
Prepare tenant notice letters
Provide support with other projects as needed

The expected compensation for this position is $20 per hour. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
