Department Description

Insights & Analytics — Specialty Business Unit

The Insights & Analytics team supports the Specialty Business Unit by delivering market-research-led insights, real‑world data analysis and programm measurement to inform strategic and tactical decisions. We translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive product planning, launch readiness and performance optimization. This role will specifically support the Respiratory Biologics portfolio, providing analytical support to help shape patient‑centered strategies and demonstrate value in the respiratory space.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated student to join our team. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about transforming raw data into actionable business intelligence. You will play a key role in evaluating product performance, understanding market dynamics, maintaining and streamlining our reporting environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate regular performance reports and provide clear, data-driven narratives to stakeholders.

  • Product Profiling: Conduct deep-dive analyses into product performance metrics to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.

  • Market Deep Dives: Research and analyze market trends and competitor landscapes to help inform our strategic positioning.

  • Report Automation: Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with automated reporting solutions to increase team efficiency.

  • Lift Measurement: Assist in designing and analyzing experiments to measure the incremental impact (lift) of specific business initiatives or marketing campaigns.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a similar discipline.

  • Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., advanced Excel, SQL, or Python/R).

  • Strong visualization skills and the ability to communicate complex findings simply.

  • Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the duration of 12 week internship (May/June ~ August 2026).
  • Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • A proactive mindset with a focus on accuracy and detail.

  • Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check prior to assignment target start date.

Benefits

  • While GSK embraces a flexible work environment, we do require certain positions to be onsite. Candidates who are hired for an on-site role or hybrid role, and reside outside of 50-miles from their assigned work location, are eligible for relocation stipend. This is a one-time payment to help offset housing & relocation expenses. Please refer to the position details for the requirements of each position. 
  • GSK Interns and Co-ops are offered a competitive hourly pay rate and benefits. Please note, benefits eligibility determined the month following date of hire.
  • This job posting is for a temporary role as an employee of Atrium on assignment at GSK. The individual selected for this role will be offered the role as an employee of Atrium; compensation, medical benefits, fringe benefits and other terms and conditions of employment shall be presented by Atrium upon offer. The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on several factors, including skills, competencies, experience, educational degree obtained, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law.

    In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirement.

    • Pay Rate Range: $22/hr to $43/hr
