About Us: PDC Performance is a Trinity alumni -led and Stumberg award -winning <\/div>
startup that provides a powerful performance -tracking tool for weight training and <\/div>
strength sport officiation. The tiny PDC Bluetooth clip, attached via lightweight bands to <\/div>
the arm or leg, tracks movement data during exercises, and communicates with the free <\/div>
PDC Performance app to provide real -time feedback and objective performance <\/div>
metrics. <\/div>

Community Outreach & Engagement Intern - This internship provides the opportunity <\/div>
to have an influential role in developing and expanding the presence of a startup <\/div>
company through an organic and community -centric approach. <\/div>
<\/div>
This role will be focused on expanding our online presence and the growing user base <\/div>
of our app through a community engagement rather than sales -driven approach. Interns <\/div>
will collaborate with the PDC team to create and implement an effective community <\/div>
engagement and outreach strategy through 4 approaches: <\/div>
<\/div>
1) Repurposing videos from our weekly in -app community leaderboard as social <\/div>
media posts to attract new users to the app and recognize the exceptional feats <\/div>
of strength tracked by users of our app. <\/div>
2) Reaching out to strength athletes, coaches, and any other leads who would be <\/div>
most likely to share, review, provide testimonials, or collaborate with us. <\/div>
Collaborate to create strength -related social media challenges, giveaways, and <\/div>
other tactics to boost community engagement and interest. <\/div>
3) Attending a local powerlifting meet or convention with our team to promote the <\/div>
device as a training tool as well as its potential as a competition officiation <\/div>
solution in various strength sports. Help to design display materials and <\/div>
collaborate on a strategy to demonstrate the app’s most impactful features. <\/div>
4) Collaborating with the team to refine our website by streamlining the customer <\/div>
path, improving aesthetic choices, and updating the front page to include any <\/div>
new testimonials and reviews. <\/div>

NOTE: Due to financial restrictions tied to University funding through the VMS program, Trinity University students will be given priority consideration for this position. <\/div>
