Master's Level Counseling / Social Work Intern (Paid, Part-Time)
Join the Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Team at Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI (LSS)!
Are you a Master's-level student passionate about helping families heal and thrive? LSS is seeking a Master's Level Counseling / Social Work Intern to join our evidence-based Family Centered Treatment (FCT) program beginning Fall 2026.
FCT is an in-home, trauma-informed treatment model focused on strengthening families, promoting reunification, and addressing intergenerational trauma. Interns receive valuable hands-on clinical experience along with weekly individual and team supervision.
What You'll Do
- Provide individual, family, couples, group, and substance use counseling services under supervision
- Conduct client assessments and develop treatment plans
- Deliver psychoeducation, skill-building, and therapeutic support
- Maintain clinical documentation and complete required agency paperwork
- Participate in weekly supervision and team meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field required
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy
- Internship agreement between educational institution and LSS required

Work Environment
- Hybrid work model with virtual meetings
- In-person services provided in homes, schools, and community settings primarily in Fond du Lac County
- Some travel for training may occur within surrounding counties
- Weekly team meeting: Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. β 12:00 p.m.
