Program Overview:The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector. This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands-on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field. Interns will gain a comprehensive understanding of core arts marketing functions, the structure of a performing arts organization, and collaboration within a professional office environment.

  • Conversation Series that features leaders from across the sector and program Alumni
  • Special Events that make Lincoln Center the world’s leading performing arts center 

What you’ll get to do: 

  • Manage flyer inventory and ensure campus venues and community partners are stocked with relevant marketing materials
  • Audit web pages and proofread print materials for accuracy
  • Support the Associate Director of Marketing and Marketing Associate with implementing marketing strategies
  • Attend marketing meetings and contribute creative ideas to develop new audiences and increase engagement
  • Attend selected performances to assist with signage implementation and ensure smooth event operations

You'll be a great fit if:

  • A rising college junior or senior, or equivalent
  • Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
  • Available to work 21hours per week from February–May 2026
  • Available Wednesday afternoons to participate in internship program workshops
  • Familiar with design or marketing
  • Experience with writing and editing
  • Aware of current social media trends
  • Someone who with strong attention to detail
  • A self-starter who also thrives in team environments
  • Passionate about arts, leadership, and community impact
  • Someone who exemplifies teamwork, organization, innovation, resilience, inclusivity, and enthusiasm
