Join our team this summer as a Marketing Intern and gain hands-on experience at a leading financial institution. This 10-week program combines real-world marketing work with professional development training sessions, executive meet-and-greets, and engaging intern group activities.

This internship has an on-site requirement. Remote candidacy will not be considered.

Role Overview: The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team with creative, digital, and event-based initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in graphic design, social media management, campaign support, and basic marketing research and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials, including graphics, digital content, and promotional assets.
  • Support social media efforts by drafting posts and monitoring engagement.
  • Help coordinate and support marketing events, promotions, and community outreach initiatives. Candidate will be expected to attend 3-6 events throughout the Summer and interact with public (some may be outside of normal working hours.)
  • Conduct basic market and competitor research to inform marketing strategies.
  • Assist with tracking and reporting on campaign performance and key marketing metrics.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign planning and content development.
  • Accomplishes the credit union's mission by completing relevant duties as needed when requested by management or other staff members.

Essential Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have 2 years of coursework/progress towards a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field required.

  • Basic design capabilities with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Working knowledge of major Social Media platforms.
  • Ability to write copy narrative or art direction for basic creative briefs.
  • Analytical mindset with basic familiarity with marketing metrics and reporting.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow brand and style guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles, branding, and audience engagement.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing practices.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
