The hourly base rate of pay for this internship starts at $18.00, and may increase based on major and class standing.
Intern will be introduced to the many aspects of Information Technology from an Enterprise Operations perspective. This will include meeting and working with Subject Matter Experts in the following areas: Systems Engineering (Active Directory, Identity Management, PowerShell Basics, Group Policies, Server Patching, Storage/Backups, etc.), Network Engineering (Firewalls, Understanding Network Configurations, Encryption Technologies, Network Security Groups, Domain Name System, Virtual Private Networks, etc.), and Platform Engineering (Virtualization/VMware - Creating a virtual machine in VMware, Middleware (Internet Information Services and Webservers), Azure Cloud Platform, and ServiceNow (platform used to streamline workflows and automate business, operations, and service management in IT.) The Intern will also have opportunities to Shadow with IT Subject Matter Experts.Interest in Information Technology especially IT systems, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program.
Must have completed freshman year of college.
