ISO Technical Writing Intern - Indianapolis [onsite, day shift]

Peerless Pump Company, an Indianapolis based subsidiary of Grundfos, is seeking an ISO Technical Writing Intern to join its 2026 Summer Intern Program in the ISO Quality Team.
The ISO Technical Writing Intern will report to the Senior Quality Manager and take functional direction from the ISO Manager, and will operate daily out of the Indianapolis, IN facility (onsite, Monday-Friday).
Summer Interns at Peerless Pump are given opportunities to participate in department projects with the goal to help expand their technical education and aid in completion of projects. At the end of the term, Interns will prepare a project status report to present to senior management within the company to explain impact of their project and receive direct feedback on performance.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.
The salary range for this position is $20/hour.

What is the job about?
The Peerless Pump ISO Quality Technical Writer Intern will be responsible for developing and documenting JIS – Job Instruction Standards for production positions.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Posting, Reporting, and Work Relations
This role will report directly to the Quality Manager and take daily functional direction from the ISO Manager.
Key stakeholders are; Quality, Production/Assembly/Testing, Machine Shops, Logistics, Product Engineering. This position will create standard work instructions for all key company internal process from beginning to end and will observe and collaborate with production employees and leaders at all company levels.
