CPH is seeking a talented Intern with either a focus in electrical or mechanical engineering to join our team in Sanford, FL!
The Electrical Intern will assist the team by supporting with various tasks and projects to gain practical experience in Mechanical / Electrical engineering. This position provides practical, hands -on experience and is ideal for students or recent graduates who are eager to apply their academic knowledge to develop professional skills, and experience.
Duties Include

Assist with day-to-day operations and tasks within the department.

Provide support for ongoing projects by completing assigned tasks and contributing to project goals.

Participate in the design, analysis, and testing of electrical and mechanical components.

Help in data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports or presentations.

Work closely with MEP team, including meetings and collaborating on project tasks.
-
Communicate effective with team members to ensure successful project outcomes.

Seek guidance and feedback for mentor.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
-
Comfortable working and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Basic understanding of electrical/ mechanical engineering principles.

Ability to interpret technical drawings.

Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is a plus.

Course work in power / energy (Electrical Engineering) or thermodynamics / fluid mechanics (Mechanical Engineering) is a plus.

Excellent oral, written and organizational skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.
Education & Experience:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Engineering Program.

Basic knowledge in industry standards and best practices.

Prior internship or hands-on experience in an engineering setting is a plus.
