Key ResponsibilitiesĀ

Review and rewrite existing job descriptions across Valence locations for clarity, consistency, and alignment with current role requirementsĀ

Partner with hiring managers and HR to develop new or updated job descriptions for open and newly created positionsĀ

Design and build structured training plans for new hires, outlining onboarding milestones, role-specific competencies, and check-in schedulesĀ

AssistĀ with recruiting coordination, including scheduling interviews, posting job requisitions, andĀ maintainingĀ candidate tracking recordsĀ

Support new hire onboarding activities, including paperwork processing, orientationĀ logistics, and new employee follow-upĀ

Help compile and organize data for HR reporting, dashboards, and metrics trackingĀ

AssistĀ with compliance-related administrative tasks (e.g.,Ā training tracking, policy acknowledgments, file audits)Ā

Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, correspondence, and meeting coordinationĀ

Participate in special projects as assigned, with exposure to multiple HR functional areasĀ
QualificationsĀ

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related fieldĀ

Rising junior, senior, or recent graduate preferredĀ

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely for a variety of audiencesĀ

ProficiencyĀ with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ā

High levelĀ of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriatelyĀ

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasksĀ

InterestĀ in job architecture, employee onboarding, or instructional/training design a plusĀ

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiativeĀ

Prior HR, internship, or administrative experience is a plus but notĀ requiredĀ
Work Environment & Physical RequirementsĀ

Primarily an office environment; occasional presence on the production/plant floor may beĀ requiredĀ for specific projectsĀ

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and use standard office equipmentĀ

Some sites may require basic PPE for floor visits (e.g., safety glasses, closed-toe shoes)Ā
