Job Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, is seeking applications from BC/BE internist for a position at the rank of Assistant Professor, open tenure. Individual may participate in division teaching programs. Opportunities are also available to join our growing academic hospitalist faculty or our outpatient private practice setting. Focus on hospital transitions of care, quality and safety is highly desirable. Division members lead education programs for medical students, residents and fellows; members also lead research and scholarship projects in medical education, quality and patient safety. Required Qualifications
Candidates must have an MD or other doctoral degree in a related field and relevant postdoctoral experience. MD candidates must be board certified or board eligible in a pertinent specialty
