Position Summary
The Graphic Design Intern is a non-exempt, non-officer, part-time position that is responsible for developing and implementing graphic design work as needed to support the existing Timberline Bank Marketing and Communications Coordinator. This person must be available to work Monday thru Friday for an approximate 10 hours per week with the flexibility to work longer hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proficient in creating computer-generated graphics using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Skilled in animation, layout design, and producing visually engaging content for print publications, exhibits, displays, digital platforms, and promotional materials.
- Ensure compliance with Bank policies and regulatory requirements including maintaining the marketing portfolio for examinations/audits and ensuring proper Risk Management approval of all marketing materials.
- Maintain a vibrant and active social media presence, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and/or other appropriate online social media platforms.
- Monitor the campaign's social media accounts including "Timber Trails" to manage content, messaging, look and feel.
- Assist Marketing and Communications Coordinator with brand management for Timberline Bank Mascot, on print and digital materials.
- Obtaining compliance approval of various advertisements, video, and other promotional material for adherence to brand specifications Produce, or facilitate the production of web, print and social media content to support marketing and communications goals.
- Ability to collaborate with Marketing and Communications Coordinator on various campaigns, productions, and marketing projects.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Coordinate and demonstrate design activities including building models, patterns, or templates
- Prior experience with the support, development, and execution of marketing materials in writing, design, and distribution for internal and external audiences, including service line brochures, direct mail, print advertising, and other avenues of advertising and communications such as billboards, radio, social media, educational videos, etc. is preferred.
- Other functions and responsibilities may be added at the Bank's discretion.
- Duties may be expanded on as experience and professional goals are achieved.
Required Knowledge and Expertise
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, accompanied with social networking experience, basic knowledge of business and marketing concepts.
- Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques, create graphic design elements for website, email marketing and other uses as needed OR ability to learn.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, business-related social media, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, workflow managing tools, and website design program OR ability to learn.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff from entry level to Sr. Management and ability to work well in a team-focused environment.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Must be pursuing a degree in Graphic Design at CMU.

**Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules, the salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Incentives based on Timberline Team goals may also be offered.
