Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is the largest provider of behavioral health services in Western Massachusetts and a Certified Great Place to Work. If you’re a master level student seeking an impactful outpatient internship for the Fall of 2026, we invite you to join our team. At BHN’s CCS Respite in Westfield, you’ll gain hands-on experience while receiving top-notch training, supervision, and mentorship.

Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri (2 shifts per week 8-hour shifts)

What You’ll Do:

As a Master level Intern, you will learn the necessary skills required to understand the job of a counselor, while meeting the needs of person's served at CCS/Respite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate competency in the utilization of the agency's technological systems
  • Assess treatment needs, develop and implement treatment plans and assess treatment progress for clients on the crisis stabilization unit
  • Participates in required supervision and trainings
  • Ability to relate, establish support with psychiatric clients, family members and service providers
  • Learn about BHN and program goals in supporting our mission and programs

What You’ll Bring:

  • Graduate student from a clinical masters program 
  • Experience working in the mental health field (preferred)
  • Experience with documentation skills and detail oriented (required)
  • Motivation to work in the mental health field(required)
