About the Equity and Inclusion TeamĀ 

SKDK’s Equity and Inclusion teamĀ works toĀ ensure our firm’s culture reflects our values of belonging, authenticity, and equity. Collaborating across SKDK, Wavelength, and Jasper Advisors, this team leads internal programs such as mentoring, employee resource groups, and professional development initiatives.Ā It looks at our internal policies and practices to ensure equity and inclusion is at theĀ center,Ā and bias is removed from the equation.Ā The team’s mission is to ensure that every person within our firm can show up fully as who they are, every single day.Ā Ā

TheĀ SKDKĀ Marketing team tells the story of SKDK—ourĀ work,Ā ourĀ people, andĀ ourĀ culture. ThisĀ team overseesĀ theĀ firm’sĀ social media channels,Ā internal communications,Ā award submissions, and initiatives that magnify our team’s impact both internally and externally.Ā Ā 

About the RoleĀ Ā 

As a Fall 2026 Equity + Inclusion and Marketing Intern, you will work across both teams, supporting internal communications, equity initiatives, and external marketing efforts. You’llĀ help shape how SKDK communicates its values,Ā showcasesĀ its people, and fosters a culture of inclusion and belonging.Ā

Responsibilities

  • MonitorĀ news andĀ create media clipsĀ reports highlighting DEI and marketing trendsĀ Ā 
  • MaintainĀ and update press listsĀ Ā 
  • DraftĀ engagingĀ social media content, briefings,Ā award submissions, andĀ internal communicationsĀ 
  • Contribute to the creation ofĀ SKDK’s weekly internal newsletterĀ Ā 
  • Maintain work trackers and the social media content calendarĀ Ā 
  • Support the firm-wide mentoring program and relatedĀ logisticsĀ Ā 
  • Research best practices for internal culture and inclusion initiativesĀ Ā 
  • AssistĀ in planning and executing efforts such as theĀ ChangemakerĀ InitiativeĀ and LinkedIn Live conversationsĀ Ā 
  • Provide support on special projects as neededĀ Ā
