WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Assist with design and development of mechanical components and systems
• Support creation of 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation
• Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation
• Analyze test results and assist with design improvements and optimizations
• Support engineering efforts to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production and product implementation
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation
• Support documentation of engineering processes, reports, and project updates
• Assist with additional engineering and cross-functional projects as assigned
• Support additional technical service and operations projects as assigned

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Required Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of engineering principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  
  

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU AN EDGE?

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Exposure to CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Interest in product design, HVAC systems, or manufacturing environments
• Experience with prototyping, testing, or hands-on engineering projects

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $20 – $38/hour. This rate is based on the intern's current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
