We are currently seeking a motivated and innovative Electrician Intern to join our team in Buffalo, NY. Responsibilities

  • Support engineers and electricians in driving assigned projects
  • Electrical installation, along with correct and complete documentation
  • Perform a variety of construction and repair work.  Wire circuits, rigging, and fabricate or modify equipment as required for wind tunnel testing
  • Use complicated charts, tables, and drawings, shop mathematics, handbook formulas, judgment and experience in the reading and interpolation of charts, gauges, meters and other precision instruments.

Qualifications

Preferred Education / Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Study program at an accredited college or university

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

  • Working knowledge of Ohms Law, handbook and wattage formulas, and National Electric Code requirements for wiring and installations
  • Use of precision measuring instruments such as voltage testers, ohmmeter, watt meter.
  • CCNA, CEH, CISA, CISSP
  • Must be motivated and have a strong desire to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship.
