JOB SUMMARY
Elite Tournaments is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Media Intern to support the marketing team through graphic design, video editing, and digital content creation. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience creating content for sports organizations while building a professional portfolio. The intern will assist with producing engaging visual assets for social media, email marketing, websites, and event promotions while helping maintain a consistent brand across multiple clients and tournaments.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
- Design branded graphics for social media, email marketing, websites, and digital advertising
- Create promotional materials for upcoming events, registration campaigns, and special announcements
- Create templates and creative assets for tournaments and events, including social media graphics, email headers, signage concepts, digital advertisements, and other branded marketing materials
- Develop templates and creative assets that align with Elite Tournaments' brand standards
- Assist with sponsor and partner graphics as needed
- Prepare artwork for a variety of digital marketing initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
VIDEO EDITING & CONTENT CREATION
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other digital platforms
- Create event recap videos using existing photo and video assets captured by Elite Tournaments staff and photographers
- Develop engaging motion graphics and animated content to support marketing campaigns
- Organize and manage photo and video assets for future use
- Stay current on social media trends and incorporate relevant editing styles and techniques when appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
DIGITAL MARKETING SUPPORT
- Assist in creating content for social media campaigns across multiple tournament brands
- Support the development of marketing materials for email campaigns, websites, and event promotions
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative content ideas and campaign concepts
- Help maintain visual consistency across all digital platforms and partner organizations
- Assist with additional marketing and creative projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator), Canva or similar tools
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Effective organizational skills for management of multiple tasks
- Creativity in brainstorming and executing content creation
- Obtaining a bachelor’s degree in a degree in Digital Media, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of the youth sports landscape and particularly the youth soccer and lacrosse tournament club, sector, and demographic in the United States.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS IF WORKING EVENTS
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work weekends, irregular hours, and travel as needed
